about

This song originally appeared on the Mountain Mirrors "Dreadnought" LP. This is one of my favorite songs I've written. I always wanted to do it with proper drums instead of stock drum loops. The original uses Spectrasonics Stylus RMX. I dig it.

This is definitely kicked up a fuckin notch.

lyrics

She stole the heavens from your sky
And showed a broken man to fly
Cast a spell to block the sun
And shone her light on everyone

She cast your past into the well
No future but you'll live to tell

She led you to a river red
Kaleidoscopes, loved ones undead
Smiled and whispered in your ear
Secrets that you've longed to hear

Of visions, music in the wind
No more pain. Magic. Light within...
